Fulham vs Brentford Preview, Prediction, Team News and Predicted Lineups
Brentford make the short trip to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in the Premier League on Monday, and we’ve got the latest in regards to team news and lineups ahead of the action, as well as a prediction alongside our preview.
Fulham vs Brentford Preview
In Monday’s sole fixture to round off the 10th gameweek of the 2024/25 Premier League season, 12th-place Fulham host 11th-place Brentford, with a spot in the top half up for grabs if either side is able to claim victory.
Marco Silva’s Cottagers are winless in each of their last three English top-flight matches, playing out a 1-1 draw against Everton last time out, which followed defeats to high-flyers Manchester City and Aston Villa.
Prior to the 3-2 loss away at the Etihad at the start of October, Fulham went five games unbeaten in the league, defeating the likes of Leicester, Newcastle and a then-unbeaten Nottingham Forest.

Brentford, meanwhile, led by the impressive Bryan Mbeumo in attack, come into this one off the back of a penalty shootout victory over Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup fourth round, having drawn 1-1 in regular time.
As for their last outing in the league, they recorded a 4-3 win over Ipswich in stunning fashion. Thomas Frank‘s side trailed 2-0 after 31 minutes but fought back to lead 3-2 after 51 minutes. The Tractor Boys drew level with less than five minutes to go, but that man Mbeumo provided the goods for the Bees once again, sealing the points with a 96th-minute winner.
Monday night’s meeting will see the pair face off for the first time since May, when they played out a 0-0 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium, while their last meeting at Craven Cottage ended 3-0 in favour of Brentford.
Fulham Team News
Silva will be boosted by the return of Danish defender Joachim Andersen, who is available for selection once again after missing the Everton draw through suspension.
Sasa Lukic (shoulder) is ruled out until after the international window, meanwhile, and Timothy Castagne (thigh) is also expected to miss out.
Brentford Team News
The Bees are expected to be able to call upon the services of Kristoffer Ajer following his return from a foot injury, with Frank confirming in his pre-match press conference that the Norwegian is back in training.
Unavailable though are Josh Dasilva (knee), Igor Thiago (knee), Rico Henry (knee), Aaron Hickey (thigh) and Gustavo Nunes (back), who are all ruled out through injury.

Fulham vs Brentford Prediction
Despite going three successive games without a win in the league, we are favouring Fulham to bounce back with a win in Monday night’s West London Derby, and so are the UK’s best football betting sites.
There has been little to split Fulham and Brentford thus far this term, and their league positions clearly reflect that, but we believe that home advantage will come into play for this one.
The Cottagers have suffered just one defeat at their home ground across all competitions in 2024/25 – a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa just over two weeks back – and we’re backing them to maintain this strong record with a narrow win over the Bees.
Prediction: Fulham 2-1 Brentford
