Now, the world of darts knows just how good ‘The Nuke’ is. Littler has won various tournaments all around the world since, including the 2024 Premier League Darts which he captured on debut. He also his a 9-darter in the final against Luke Humphries.

Alongside all of this, Littler is now the most followed darts player in the world, becoming the first man to accumulate over one million followers on social media platform Instagram.

Who Is The Favourite To Win The 2025 World Darts Championship?

Ahead of the 2025 World Darts Championship, it’s world number one and reigning world champion Luke Humphries who heads to Ally Pally as the overriding favourite with the best betting sites in the UK.

That comes as absolutely no surprise given Humphries’ dominance over the past year on the PDC circuit. He is widely regarded as the player head and shoulders above his contemporaries right now. There is nobody close to him in terms of achievements and tournament victories of late, bar possibly Luke Littler.

Alongside Humphries, the usual suspects of Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price will be confident of capturing the Sid Waddell Trophy themselves at Alexandra Palace this Christmas.
