Erik ten Hag Officially Sacked As Manchester United Manager
Manchester United have officially confirmed the sacking of Erik ten Hag after more than two years at the club. Assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to take charge from his compatriot in an interim capacity.
A 2-1 defeat by West Ham on Sunday was the final straw for Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, with the club officially confirming they have parted ways with the Dutchman.

United have endured their worst start ever to a Premier League campaign, sitting in 14th place after nine matches.
Within those nine games, they have scored just eight goals, with only Crystal Palace and Southampton scoring fewer in the same time period.
Ten Hag led the Red Devils to the FA Cup title after beating Manchester City in the final last season, for which he was rewarded with a one-year contract extension in the summer.
But a return of four wins from 13 competitive matches thus far in 2024/25 has left United bosses dissatisfied, leaving them no option but to part ways with the 54-year-old.
Ruud van Nistelrooy, who joined United as an assistant in the summer, will take charge in an interim capacity while the club conducts a search for Ten Hag’s permanent replacement.
