Brennan Johnson is worth more than the entire attacking line of AZ Alkmaar combined ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Europa League clash.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have made a perfect start to their European campaign, picking up six points from the opening two games – beating Qarabag and Ferencvaros.

The Lilywhites have won six of their last seven matches in all competitions, sitting third in the new Europa League table and seventh in the Premier League.

One man who has been in fine form is Brennan Johnson, who scored in seven straight matches for club and country before Saturday’s win over West Ham.

As for AZ Alkmaar, recent form has been far from impressive, losing their last four matches in all competitions and accumulating just three points from the first two Europa League matches.

AZ find themselves in fifth place of the Eredivisie and are 11 points off PSV in first place – losing to the table toppers 2-1 in their most recent league clash.

Things will not get any simpler for the Dutch side given Spurs’ recent form and the difference in squad value adds a further test for AZ – which is highlighted by Spurs being the favourites on UK betting sites.

The previously mentioned Johnson is worth more than the all of AZ’s attacking options combined and Spurs’ squad value is over 10x more than the Eredivisie sides’.
