Top Irish jumps trainer Gordon Elliott has lifted the lid on his BEST horse to follow for the upcoming 2024-25 season – when asked to just give punters ONE runner to look out for.

HE CAN’T DANCE Highlighted By Gordon Elliott As His Best Horse To Follow

Trainer Gordon Elliott has fired in over 700 winners over jumps in Ireland since 2000 and another 75+ in the UK over this period and is looking forward to another jam-packed campaign.

One of his star names is last season’s Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up Gerri Colombe, who is a warm order with the best horse racing betting sites in the UK for his return run in the Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal on Saturday November 2nd.

He’ll also have the likes of Firefox and Brighterdaysahead – to name just a few – to go to war with.

However, when asked recently to give horse racing fans just ONE horse to look out for from his yard for the upcoming season Gordon Elliott replied with a name not many would have heard of.

The horse in question was – HE CAN’T DANCE – who is yet to even race under rules.

He Can’t Dance Impressive Winning Point-to-Point Winner In March

Having been ‘not sold’ at the Tatts Irish Derby Sales in June 2023, the 4 year-old He Can’t Dance has since won his only race in a Point-to-Point (watch above) at Monksgrange in Ireland and as a result fetched £300,000 at the Goffs Sale at Aintree back in April.

He Can’t Dance saw jockey Rob James in the saddle that day, who has also ridden many times for Gordon Elliott.

That Point-to-Point was run over a trip of 3 miles on heavy ground but is likely to be seen making his rules debut over a tad shorter.

This Irish-bred grey is sired by the former Mark Johnston-trained Group One winner on the flat Jukebox Jury, while his dam is the French-bred Fairy Tale and dam’s sire Spanish Moon, who won six times on the flat for trainer Sir Michael Stoute.

At this stage the horse doesn’t have any up-coming entries, but based on what Gordon Elliott has said here is one to add to your trackers and unlike his name – will be looking certainly looking to ‘dance’ on the track this season.
