Curtis Jones and Tino Livramento Join Up With England Camp In Latest Nations League Squad Update

Curtis Jones and Tino Livramento have been added to Lee Carsley’s England squad ahead of October’s Nations League fixtures, while Harry Kane and Jack Grealish both missed training on Wednesday.

The Football Association has confirmed that Curtis Jones and Tino Livramento have linked up with the senior England national side in their latest squad update ahead of October’s Nations League matches against Greece and Finland.

Jones and Livramento arrived at St. George’s Park on Tuesday evening, and their call-ups come following the withdrawals of Morgan Gibbs-White, Kobbie Mainoo and Ezri Konsa, who all picked up injuries last weekend.

Liverpool’s Jones was handed his first senior call-up back in May 2024, while Newcastle’s Livramento was called up for the first time last month, however the pair are yet to be capped by the Three Lions.

Wednesday morning’s England squad update also confirmed that Harry Kane is continuing with an individualised programme, while Jack Grealish also missed out on first-team training as a precaution after picking up a minor knock.

Lee Carsley’s captain, Kane, is currently nursing a leg injury that he suffered during Bayern Munich’s thriller against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday. It is unknown whether the 31-year-old will feature against Greece or Finland, potentially opening the door for in-form Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke to lead the line.

England head into Thursday’s Nations League showdown against the Greek as clear favourites among the UK’s best football betting sites, as Carsley aims to mastermind a third successive win since taking over from Gareth Southgate in the summer.
