The latest Bukayo Saka stats in the UEFA Champions League now means the Arsenal star has contributed more goals than Erling Haaland since the start of last season.
Saka scored his first ever career free-kick in a 2-0 win over PSG at the Emirates on matchday 2. Kai Havertz had earlier opened the scoring for the north Londoners.
Mikel Arteta’s side are now up-and-running in this year’s competition. On matchday 1, they were held to a 0-0 draw by Atalanta. David Raya proved the hero that night with a fantastic double save.

The Bukayo Saka stats in the UEFA Champions League have been simply incredible since he made his competition debut in September 2023.

Nonetheless, Saka’s return of four goals and four assists was a sign of things to come in the 2024/25 campaign. Tuesday’s stunning free-kick against PSG was his 9th goal contribution in just 11 outings.
Compared to Manchester City superstar and serial goal-getter Erling Haaland, Saka boasts a better return. Since the beginning of the 2023/24 competition, Haaland has eight goal contributions (7 goals, 1 assist).
Although there isn’t much in it at all, the Saka stats are highly impressive. In fact, Only Harry Kane (16) and Vini Jr (10) have more than the England star in the same time frame.
