Arsenal PSG predicted lineups

With Mikel Arteta’s men hosting one of Europe’s biggest clubs on Tuesday night, here’s our Arsenal Vs PSG predicted lineups and team news ahead of their massive Champions League clash.

Arsenal come into this midweek European tie on the back of two convincing wins. They beat Leicester City 4-2 on Saturday following a 5-1 thrashing of Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup last Wednesday.

The Gunners are third in the Premier League table, just one point below Liverpool who top the standings. They drew their opening Champions League match 0-0 away to Atalanta.

PSG meanwhile beat Rennes 3-1 at the weekend, and sit top of Ligue 1 with five wins and a draw from their opening six matches.

The French side beat Girona 1-0 to open their Champions League campaign with a victory.

Arsenal and PSG have met just for times in their history. Tuesday’s visitors have never beaten Arsenal, with three draws and one victory for the Gunners since their first meeting in 1994.

Arsenal Team News

Mikel Arteta continues to manage without five long-term injured players. None of Martin Odegaard (ankle), Mikel Merino (shoulder), Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) will be involved against PSG.

Ben White is also a doubt, having missed the last two games with a knee problem. This means Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber are both likely to play, having each only just returned from their own minor knocks.

Bukayo Saka is fit and firing, however. The Englishman has seven goal involvements in his last five home matches in the Champions League, and will be looking to add to that tally on Tuesday.

PSG Team News

Things are no better on the injury front for PSG manager Luis Enrique, either. The Parisian giants are missing their own quintet of players for the foreseeable.

Goncalo Ramos (ankle), Lucas Hernandez (knee), Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles), Marco Asensio (muscle) and Desire Doue (ankle) will all miss the visit to the Emirates.

And the French champions may also be without Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is recovering from a thigh problem.

Nuno Mendes (illness) and Vitinha (ankle) are also absent in a thinly stretched PSG squad.

Lee Kang-in started and scored against Rennes at the weekend following Kolo Muani’s poor showing against Girona, though Muani may return to the side to offer more of a physical threat to Arsenal’s back line.
