According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 24/7 Sports, Johnson will be out for Saturday’s game against No. 1 Oregon.
Johnson left Michigan’s Oct. 19 game against Illinois with an unspecified foot injury. Johnson did not play in the Michigan State game last week.
Missing Johnson is a huge loss for the Wolverines’ defense facing an Oregon offense that averages 300.0 passing yards and 35.0 points.
Johnson is expected back this season, but it’s unknown when it will happen.
Widely considered the top cornerback prospect in the upcoming NFL draft, Johnson was named the defensive MVP of the 2023 National Championship Game.

A year removed from winning the National Championship, the Michigan Wolverines are an entirely different team.
The biggest difference is at quarterback, a position the Wolverines can’t seem to figure out after J.J. McCarthy bolted to the NFL.
The Wolverines will once again turn to former walk-on Davis Warren at quarterback. Warren has 567 passing yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions in four games.
Oregon, the No. 1 ranked team in the country, is a 14.5-point road favorite against Michigan.
Michigan (5-3) and Oregon (8-0) kick off from the Big House at 3:30 p.m. ET.
