As we’re now past the midway point of the 2022 NFL season, we figured it was about time to start looking ahead to the postseason. It’s never too early, right?

As it stands now, we’d be guaranteed a new Super Bowl champion as both the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals are on the outside looking in. At 5-4, the Bengals are in a much better position to get in and are only out for the moment due to a tiebreaker.

The Rams, on the other hand, are in big trouble. The defending champs sit in last place in the NFC West at 3-6 and are in 13th place overall in the NFC. They’re two games back of the seventh-seeded San Francisco 49ers, but it’s actually more like three, as the Niners have already beaten the Rams twice, giving them the head-to-head tiebreaker.

So LA will need to leapfrog the other five teams in front of them and then get a game up on San Francisco, which seems like a daunting task given how Sean McVay’s group has been playing.

The top seeds in the NFL Playoffs following all the action in Week 10 are the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC. Let’s take a look at the other 12 teams that would fill out the brackets if the season ended today.

What the NFC Playoffs would look like if the season ended today

As the Philadelphia Eagles own the best record in the NFL through Week 10, we’ll kick things off in the NFC. Here’s who’s in.

  • No. 2: Minnesota Vikings (8-1, 1st NFC North)
  • No. 3: Seattle Seahawks (6-4, 1st NFC West)
