While coming off the field, Crosby pushed Caldwell in the chest when he reached the sidelines.

Crosby was clearly frustrated with the team’s performance after the Raiders fell to 2-4 with a 32-13 loss to the Steelers. Crosby finished the game with half a sack.

After the game, Crosby downplayed the incident, tweeting that Caldwell was his guy and described it as a “love push.”

Crosby also clarified the incident to reporters after the game.

“We play football, we’re grown men, we’re alpha males, we don’t greet each other the same,” Crosby said via Jesse Merrick. “The camera, it made it look bad, it looked like I was throwing him out the club. That was not what happened at all.”

Will Maxx Crosby Get Traded?

With the Raiders’ season going the wrong way, would the organization be willing to trade Crosby before the deadline on November 5?

One team to keep an eye on is the Detroit Lions, who lost their leading pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson for the season with a leg injury.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes the Lions will make a move, but told Pat McAfee that the team won’t mortgage the future to acquire a player like Crosby.

Crosby, 27, would likely cost multiple draft picks, including a first-rounder. Crosby signed a four-year, $94 million contract with the Raiders in March 2022.

The Raiders play the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.
