Sports betting provider Kambi has extended its partnership with Rush Street Interactive in the U.S.

Rush Street Interactive (RSI) and sports betting provider Kambi recently announced a multi-year extension as part of their partnership. The extension will allow RSI to use Kambi’s award-winning sportsbook platform along with its core trading and risk management services. This will be available for online gaming and all mobile apps in the US where RSI is active. American sportsbooks with RSI include BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse. Earlier this week, Rush Street Interactive launched its upgraded IRush Rewards program. This is the second deal the two companies have agreed upon since the original partnership in 2018. Kambi powers BetRivers platforms in 15 states across the country.

Additionally, they have a market in Ontario, Canada. RSI wants to expand into more countries and Peru was the latest, They’re also in Columbia and Mexico. Kambi CEO Werner Becher had this to say in a press release.

What is the history of Kambi and its partnership with RSI?

Not too long after the Supreme Court overturned the PASPA Act, Kambi and Rush Street Interactive (RSI) entered a partnership. RSI CEO Richard Shwarts noted that his company wants its users to have a memorable betting experience. The partnership with Kambi has allowed them to do that. Kambi provides RSI with its core betting functionality, which allows it to offer a robust sportsbook. Rush Street Interactive can build and integrate its unique sportsbook with innovative betting features using the Kambi platform. BetRivers is part of the RSI family and their best-performing state is Illinois. Kambi also has a presence in New York through its partnership with Bally’s. The Big Apple has the largest mobile sports betting market in the country. 

Kambi serves sports betting companies like RSI and Bally’s and has partnerships with LeoVegas and Kindred. In 2023, the company won Sportsbook Supplier of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards. Additionally, Kambi won Best Sports Betting Product at the 23rd annual Global Gaming Bussiness (GGB) Awards. The company reported $50.8 million in revenue for Q2 of 2024. That was a 6% year-over-year increase.
