Playtech Enters Responsible Gaming Partnership With UNLV

Playtech and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) announced a multiyear partnership focused on leveraging technology to promote responsible gaming. This collaboration will see Playtech and UNLV’s International Gaming Institute (IGI) utilizing the extensive experience of both organizations.

UNLV IGI will use AI and machine learning to promote responsible gambling

Established in 1994, UNLV IGI provides research-based solutions and cutting-edge insights to the global gaming and gambling industry.

Furthermore, the main plan for this collaboration is to use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to promote responsible gambling.

Playtech has committed funding to an IGI project at the university. AI is currently being used to train chatbots to encourage safer gambling behaviors among sports bettors.

Additionally, Playtech has supported an internship in the inaugural Gaming Manufacturing Internship Program at IGI’s Center for Gaming Innovation.
