The 2024 PGA Tour season is officially over as the FedEx Cup Playoffs wrapped with the Tour Championship last week at East Lake Golf Course. For the first time in his career, Scottie Scheffler won the FedEx Cup, resulting in a $25 million payday.
Heading into East Lake, Scheffler was the heavy favorite with a 10-stroke lead and he sealed the deal with the biggest payday of his career. Scheffler had sat on top of the FedEx Cup rankings through most of the season with eight wins in 20 starts. In just eight months, Scheffler’s total earnings on the course have totaled $55,308,024 and that is not including any bonuses.
The FedEx Cup Playoffs were lucrative for many players on the Tour. There was a total of $140 million in prize money offered over three different events including the FedEx St. Jude Championship, BMW Championship and the Tour Championship.
Aside from Scheffler, the top 10 players on the PGA Tour money list includes Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Hideki Matsuyama, Sahith Thegala, Wyndham Clark, and more.

2024 PGA Tour Money List
While the FedEx Cup Playoffs shelled out millions of dollars in prize money, those winnings are not counted towards the official money list on the PGA Tour. The Playoffs are generally considered bonuses for players as each event doesn’t feature a full field.
During the FedEx Cup, some players were able to double their earnings over three events. For players like Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Adam Scott, Russell Henley, and Sam Burns, a successful playoff run resulted in a huge payday.
Scheffler won a total of $29,228,357 throughout the PGA Tour season but the FedEx Cup brought his total earnings up to $55,308,024 on the year. Other players like Collin Morikawa won more money throughout the FedEx Cup playoffs than during the regular season.
