After a long offseason of negations, Lamb and the Cowboys finally agreed to terms on a long-term extension.

Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson is the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL, earning an average of $35 million per year. In June, Jefferson became the highest-paid non-QB in the league after signing a four-year, $140 million contract extension with the Vikings.

Lamb’s APY (average per year) of $34 million is No. 2, followed by Philadelphia A.J. Brown ($32 million) at No. 3, Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown ($32 million) at No. 4,  and San Francisco’s Brandon Aiyuk ($30 million) and Miami’s Tyreek Hill ($30 million) at No. 5.

The next domino to fall involves Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who is currently not practicing as he “holds in” and negotiates a new contract.

Despite two years remaining on his rookie deal, Chase wants to become the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL.
