Margaritaville Resort Casino to Unveil ESPN BET Retail Sportsbook

Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana, is preparing to unveil its new ESPN BET Sportsbook. The revamped sportsbook with ESPN BET branding will open on Saturday, Sept. 14, and will hold a formal ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.

Moreover, the refreshed sportsbook will be located to the right of the casino’s entrance and will offer an enhanced betting experience for patrons. The sportsbook is set to feature a 48-foot video wall, an additional 45 HDTVs, five betting kiosks, three over-the-counter terminals, a premium game-time dining menu, and daily drink specials.

“We’re thrilled to bring the ESPN BET brand to our casino, offering a premium sports betting and viewing experience to our customers and further establishing Margaritaville Bossier City as a key sports and entertainment destination in the region,” said General Manager and Senior Vice President, Daniel Ihm.

Margaritaville Resort Casino’s Sportsbook description reads: “Explore our action-packed sportsbook, loaded with exclusive odds boosts, custom offers and a suite of cutting-edge features. Fast load times, secure transactions and seamless navigation – ESPN BET serves up the ultimate online sports wagering experience.”

Additionally, the ESPN BET app and website launched on Nov. 14, 2023. The betting platform is an online sportsbook operated by PENN Entertainment.

In fact, the sportsbook “combines ESPN’s industry-leading brand and multiplatform reach with PENN Entertainment’s proprietary in-house technology and sportsbook expertise.”

Furthermore, ESPN BET is available for online sports betting in 18 states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The first ESPN BET branded retail sportsbook opened at Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit in April.

Other locations scheduled to open this month include Hollywood Casino Columbus (OH) and Hollywood Casino Perryville (MD). Hollywood Casino Toledo (OH) and L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles (LA) are listed as well.

Of course, Margaritaville Resort Casino is also owned by PENN Entertainment. In addition to its sports wagering, the casino also offers over 1,200 slots and 50 table games. The facility is located at 777 Margaritaville Way in Bossier City.
