SportsCasting.com recently did a deep dive into the ticket prices for different conferences in college football. One of the more surprising findings was Texas A&M having the most expensive single-game ticket in the SEC conference, as well as the Aggies finishing tied for the highest average get-in price for 2024.

Texas A&M Will Host SEC’s Most Expensive Game In 2024

It is something of a revelation in a conference that has been dominated by the likes of Georgia and Alabama for so long. But A&M is hoping that it is a new day in the SEC, especially with Nick Saban out of the picture, and they will look to improve on the 7-6 overall record that they posted last season.

The Aggies have a couple of marquee matchups on their home schedule for the coming year.

There are a handful of SEC games on the 2024 schedule that feature tickets with high price tags. 6 contests have a get-in price of over $300, including Texas vs Oklahoma and Alabama vs Tennessee.

Date Matchup Get In Price
November 30th Texas @ Texas A&M $615
October 12th Texas vs Oklahoma (Neutral) $390
October 19th Alabama @ Tennessee $339
August 31st Notre Dame @ Texas A&M $333
November 16th Tennessee @ Georgia $320

But there is one game on the schedule that is head and shoulders above the rest. A rivalry will be renewed this season through conference realignment, as the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies are once again together, this time in the SEC. They will play each other in the final week of the season, the first matchup between the two sides since 2013, and one of the premier games in all of college football for 2024.

The get-in price for a single ticket? A cool $615.

Kyle Field Is The Largest Stadium In The SEC

But there will be limited availability, even if you’re willing to pay the high price. According to a source at Texas A&M, there are no single game tickets available for the rivalry renewal on November 30th, nor for the season opener against Notre Dame.

Sellouts are impressive down in College Station. Kyle Field boasts the largest stadium in the SEC with a capacity of 102,733, and our source stated that the season ticket renewal rate from 2023 to 2024 was 97%. Texas A&M also allots the highest number of student tickets in the entire country, with a count of over 38,000.

The Texas A&M Director of Athletics Trev Alberts had the following to say:

“The extraordinary demand for sports passes underscores the unmatched dedication and enthusiasm of our students for the 2024 Aggie Football season. We are incredibly proud to boast the nation’s largest student section and the most passionate student body. Their unwavering support as the 12th Man is truly remarkable and sets the tone for an unforgettable season ahead.”

Five of the first six games on the schedule for the Aggies for 2024 will be played in their home stadium, starting off with the date against Notre Dame on August 31st.
