FanDuel Set To Launch 'FanDuel TV Extra' Providing Most Live Sporting Events

FanDuel TV, the cable television network from sports betting company FanDuel, announced the launch of “FanDuel TV Extra,” a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel.

FanDuel TV Extra is on streaming platforms such as Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Xumo Play, Plex, etc.

Additionally, “FanDuel TV Extra” is currently available on multiple streaming platforms including Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Xumo Play, Plex and through the network’s own OTT platform FanDuel TV+.

The network’s “Extra” addition airs more live sports than any other FAST channel available on the market today, according to the company’s press release. This explains why the channel is the go-to for “watch-and-wager programming.”

“Launching ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ was another important step in expanding distribution for FanDuel TV content and reaching new audiences. Our research showed a large portion of our target audience already consume content on FAST,” Executive Producer and SVP of FanDuel TV Kevin Grigsby said.

“Airing over 12 hours of live sports a day that can be wagered on significantly differentiates our channel in the market and allows us to reach a new cohort of passionate sports fans and bettors. We plan on continuing to invest in the reach of ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ by adding it to other top FAST providers in the near future.”

Viewers and gamblers will have access to the network’s live award-winning horse racing coverage, along with international basketball including China’s CBA, Germany’s BBL, Turkey’s BSL, and Pan-America’s BCLA. Viewers and bettors will also be able to watch international soccer from South Korea’s K-League, PDC darts, and poker from PokerStars.

The television network first launched on July 14, 1999 as TVG

Furthermore, TV programming on “FanDuel TV Extra” will reportedly include episodes of the network’s original studio shows “Up & Adams” and “Run It Back.”

Fans can watch player interviews and expert analysis of the top storylines from around the NFL and NBA from their favorite personalities like Shams Charania, Kay Adams, Michelle Beadle, Lou Williams, and Chandler Parsons.

FanDuel TV first launched on July 14, 1999, as TVG. The network originally focused on horse racing.

In 2008, the network was sold to Betfair.

Years later, it acquired HRTV in 2015; it was then renamed TVG2. Following a shift to devote its mainstream programs to sports betting, the network relaunched as FanDuel TV in 2022.
