Many people love Halloween, a worldwide holiday with dressing up and hijinks. Halloween pictures of WTA World No. 3 Coco Gauff and retired ATP Scottish legend Andy Murray show tennis players participating in these activities.

Coco Gauff’s Costume

Coco Gauff is fiercely dedicated to the holiday.  She packed her costume for her trip to the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Gauff begins round-robin match play against her American compatriot and former doubles partner Jessica Pegula over the weekend, but in the meantime, Gauff put on her Deadpool costume and filmed a TikTok dancing in it to an NSYNC song.

Her Halloween game of doing a complex dance in a head-to-toe costume is almost as impressive as her tennis game.

Andy Murray’s Costume

Tennis legend Andy Murray recently retired from the game.  He is such an icon for his game and personality.  From the looks of his Halloween costume, he is now fully immersed in his “dad” era.

Murray did not publicize his look on social media. He can thank his proud mother, Judy Murray, a tennis legend in her own right, for sharing it with a hilarious caption hinting that her son has a little too much free time these days.

Andy looked happier on the tennis court than in this elaborate clown costume.

Other Tennis Player Costumes

There were also funny and contrived internet “costumes” for those who wanted to dress up like their favorite current and former tennis players.

Daniil Medvedev’s costume drew laughter because it omitted the best thing about Medvedev, his personality.

Hall of Fame American player Andy Roddick’s Served podcast contrived a costume at Roddick’s expense.

Roddick’s costume includes the trademark visor, broken racket, sweat towels, and the US Open trophy.  His four runner-up trophies are not included.

Legendary Costume Memory

In 2012, Novak Djokovic famously took to the court on Halloween at the ATP Paris Masters wearing a Darth Vader mask, and fans went wild.  Though he did not win the tournament that year, he went on to win it the next three years from 2013 through 2015. Ironically his 2015 win came at Andy Murray’s expense.

Djokovic’s look was celebrated in a throwback Halloween post.
