ESPN BET Retail Sportsbook Unveiled at L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles

ESPN BET unveiled a newly-branded retail sportsbook at L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on Friday, Sept. 20. The revamped sportsbook is set to provide customers with a modern sports viewing and betting experience.

According to the news release, the opening of the ESPN BET Sportsbook furthers brand connectivity between PENN Entertainment’s retail casino and online sports betting platform.

The ESPN BET sportsbook is located next to the hotel tower elevators. It offers a gourmet tailgate-inspired menu and over 20 beers on tap, which can be enjoyed while surrounded by 36 televisions and an enormous 24-foot video wall.

Furthermore, the sportsbook features three over-the-counter sports betting terminals, 15 sports betting kiosks, and four slot machines. Other additions include six video poker machines along with electronic and traditional table games.

Moreover, L’Auberge Casino Resort combines the spirit of Texas Hill Country with the elegance of a world-class resort. The ESPN BET app is now available on the casino’s website as well.

ESPN BET launched in November 2023. It is the official sportsbook of ESPN. Additionally, the sportsbook combines ESPN’s industry-leading brand and multiplatform reach with PENN’s proprietary in-house technology and deep sportsbook operational expertise.

Of course, ESPN BET is currently available for online sports betting in 18 jurisdictions, including Louisiana. The new sportsbook at L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles is one of several branded retail locations scheduled to open across PENN properties this fall.

Last Saturday, Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City unveiled its new ESPN BET Sportsbook. The sportsbook features a 48-foot video wall, an additional 45 HDTVs, and five betting kiosks.

The first ESPN BET branded retail sportsbook opened at Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit in April.

Other locations scheduled to open this month include Hollywood Casino Columbus (OH), Hollywood Casino Perryville (MD), and Hollywood Casino Toledo (OH).
