Argentina Takes Dig At Drake

Drake placed a huge $300,000 bet on Canada to defeat Argentina, which would have given him a $2.88 million payout.

However, Argentina defeated Canada 2-0, with goals from Julián Álvarez and Lionel Messi. The loss ended Canada’s magical run in their first Copa América in team history.

With the win, Argentina took a dig at Drake on their social media account with a picture of their squad accompanied by the caption, “Not like us, not with us.”

The caption is a nod to Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us, the popular diss track that attacks the Canadian rapper.

Argentina Advances To Copa América Final

With the win over Canada, Argentina now advances to the finals of the 2024 Copa América. Argentina will play the winner of Uruguay and Colombia in Sunday night’s final from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Argentina is looking to win a record 16th Copa América title. Argentina enters the game as the defending champions, defeating Brazil in the finals of the 2021 Copa América.

Argentina is on a historic run, having only lost two games since the 2019 Copa América semifinal defeat.
