Carl ‘The Cobra’ Froch, a former super-middleweight boxing world champion, has been announced as a new brand ambassador for online poker room CoinPoker.

CoinPoker Announce Carl Froch As New Ambassador

Online poker platform CoinPoker have announced former British boxing world champion Carl ‘The Cobra’ Froch as their latest brand ambassador.

The Nottingham-native joins the likes of Tony G and Mario Mosböck on the list of prominent ambassadors for the crypto-based site, whilst they have also become the new regional sponsor of the Argentina national football team.

Froch, who has made the move from the boxing ring to the poker table, is a former WBC, IBF, WBA super-middleweight champion and is an International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee as of 2023.

CoinPoker players will have the opportunity to play against Froch in upcoming ‘Froch on Fighting freerolls’ tournaments, where there’ll be an extra cash bounty for knocking him out – a feat that was never achieved throughout his boxing career.

The online betting site have also confirmed that many of the 47-year-old’s poker sessions will be broadcasted live, with replays, on their YouTube channel, which will include analysis of his play, and fans will have the chance to interact with him and win signed merchandise.
