Godwin suffered a dislocated left ankle injury with under a minute left in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game.
Godwin needed immediate medical attention and was carted off the field.
Head coach Todd Bowles told reporters on Monday that Godwin will be undergoing surgery and will likely be out for the rest of the season (via Scott Smith).
Godwin finished the game with seven receptions for 65 yards. His 2024 campaign ends with 50 catches for 576 yards and five touchdowns.
Godwin is in the final year of his three-year, $60 million contract he signed in 2022. The 28-year-old will be a free agent this offseason. His recovery timeline will likely determine his next contract. Whether that’s with the Bucs or another team has yet to be decided.
HC Todd Bowles says WR Chris Godwin will be undergoing surgery and will likely be out for the rest of the season. There's a small chance if the Bucs make a playoff run, Godwin could make it back.

Mike Evans Injured Hamstring
#Bucs WR Mike Evans' hamstring injury will likely keep him out after the Week 11, per coach Todd Bowles. He described it as "moderate,” but says Evans is hurting pretty good.

Besides Godwin, Baker Mayfield lost his other top target, Mike Evans, to a hamstring injury.
Evans entered the game with a hamstring strain. However, Evans toughed it out and caught one ball — a 25-yard touchdown pass on the game’s opening drive.
Evans reaggravated his hamstring in the second quarter after another 25-yard touchdown attempt. Bowles expects Evans to be out until after the team’s Week 11 bye.
Evans has been as durable as it gets, missing only nine regular season games in his 10-year career. Evans is the Bucs’ all-time leader in receiving yards, with 10 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to start his career.
Evans has 26 catches for 335 yards and six touchdowns this season.
The Buccaneers (4-3) host the Atlanta Falcons (4-3) on Sunday afternoon.
