Chiefs vs. 49ers: The +175 Prop Bet You Need to Target Based on a Surprising Report
Kansas City Chiefs fans and fantasy football owners everywhere woke up to some surprising news on Sunday morning. A few hours before Kansas City’s Week 7 tilt against the San Francisco 49ers, reports emerge that rookie running back Isiah Pacheco practiced with the first team all week and is expected to start ahead of Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
If you didn’t scoop Pacheco off the waiver wire earlier this morning, you’re probably too late. But it’s not too late to make some money on the sudden lineup change. Let’s take advantage of Kansas City’s new starting RB and target a +175 prop bet for Chiefs-49ers.
Isiah Pacheco reportedly expected to start for the Chiefs against the 49ers
There’s a new starting running back in Kansas City.
On Sunday morning, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported Pacheco took first-team reps in practice this week and is expected to be the Chiefs’ starting running back against the 49ers. Edwards-Helaire, who started the first six games of the season, will still be involved with the offense.
The Chiefs haven’t been impressed with Edwards-Helaire lately. The LSU product has run for just 48 yards on 18 carries over the last two weeks, and he’s averaging fewer yards per rush (4.3) than Pacheco (4.8) on the season.
Through six games, Pacheco has rushed 31 times for 149 yards and a touchdown. He’s also pitched in two catches for nine yards.

With Pacheco in line to start for the Chiefs on Sunday, the talented rookie should see his largest workload of the season. That should give him a great opportunity to find the end zone in this high-powered offense, and you can get +175 odds on it happening.
Don’t overthink this one. The Chiefs see something special in Pacheco, and they’re finally ready to unleash him against the 49ers this week. Take Pacheco anytime touchdown at +175 and thank me later.
