Bill Belichick Launches Football Show With Underdog Fantasy

Bill Belichick, the former New England Patriots head coach, has partnered with gaming company Underdog Fantasy to launch his own Coach with Bill Belichick football show. It will be the first original program created and hosted by the eight-time Super Bowl champion.

Bill Belichick’s Coach with Bill Belichick show will air on YouTube and debut prior to the 2024 NFL season

The Coach with Bill Belichick football show will air on YouTube and debut before the 2024 NFL season on the Underdog media network. It will aim to provide fans with an in-depth analysis of game situations, as the Hall of Fame coach works to break down plays.

“This show is going to give fans a comprehensive look at the behind-the-scenes of the National Football League,” Belichick said in a promotional video. “What it’s like to coach, how to prepare, how to team build, exactly the way I would do it if I was coaching a team.

“I want to find a connection to the fans where I give the fans what they’ve asked me for in terms of content — behind-the-scenes information, decision-making that goes on within the organization, and a breakdown of schematics and personnel within the game.

“[I want to] bring all this real football conversation and decisions to the fans. Underdog wants to do that, and I want to do that, so it was a great fit.”

Belichick will make appearances on other shows throughout the season

Belichick, 72, has opted to participate in media roles since departing from the Patriots earlier this year after 24 seasons. In April, he joined the The Pat McAfee Show for its NFL draft coverage. He is set to make weekly appearances on it throughout the 2024 season.

Additionally, Belichick has signed with Omaha Productions/ESPN to make frequent appearances on the ManningCast for Monday Night Football. He will also serve as a studio analyst for The CW’s Inside the NFL.

He will join Ryan Clark, Chad Johnson, and Chris Long on that show. Belichick’s show is the latest to be added to the Underdog media network. It also includes Gil’s Arena, founded by former NBA star Gilbert Arenas.

Underdog’s network has surpassed one million total YouTube subscribers. It is currently on track to eclipse 750 million YouTube views this year. Coach with Bill Belichick is helmed by executive producer Tim Livingston as well.

Furthermore, Belichick remains 15 wins short of breaking Don Shula’s all-time wins record (347). His presence on four shows will allow him to remind owners why he’s better than their current coach.
