After a pathetic showing from the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 5, their second-round playoff series against the Miami Heat shifts back to the 2-1-5 for a win-or-go-home Game 6. The Sixers will need a much more spirited effort from Joel Embiid and James Harden if they want to keep their season alive.

We know you’ll be watching this marquee matchup on Thursday night, so why not get some action down on what should be a physical, entertaining game? Check out the odds, predictions, and our best bets for Game 6 between the 76ers and Heat below.

Spread: 76ers -2
Total: 207
Moneyline: 76ers -129, Heat +107

It sure is going to be a stressful night in South Philadelphia. With a loss, the 76ers will bow out of the playoffs before the Eastern Conference Finals for the sixth year in a row.

The good news for the Sixers? They won both home games in this series by an average of 14 points per game. This group just seems to have an extra level of juice when they play in front of their home crowd, and they can’t possibly play worse than they did in Game 5.

As for the Heat, they’ve shot just 14-of-65 combined from beyond the arc in two games at the Wells Fargo Center. They’ll need to make at least 30% of their threes if they want to keep up with a desperate Sixers team on Thursday night.

Philly currently sits as a short, two-point favorite in the game, with the total set at 207. I expect the Sixers to come out firing and build up a lead in the first half, but as the game goes on and the pressure builds, I wouldn’t be surprised if Harden and Embiid fold down the stretch. That’s why I won’t be targeting a full-game spread bet in this one, but I do have some props you should target for a highly anticipated Game 6.

Best Bets for Sixers-Heat Game 6

76ers first quarter -1 (-104)

The Sixers looked completely uninterested in Game 5, but I’m expecting a big bounceback on their home court Thursday night. With its back against the wall, Philly has no other option but to come out with more fire and make a statement early in Game 6.

Tobias Harris over 1.5 three-pointers (-120)

Harris has hit this over in six of his 11 playoff starts this year. He’s attempting nearly five threes per game in the postseason and shooting nearly 40%, and he seems to fire from deep with more confidence inside the Wells Fargo Center.

James Harden under 20.5 points (-110)

It’s easy to remember Harden’s 31-point performance the last time he suited up in South Philly, but he hasn’t scored more than 20 points in any of the other four games in this series. Do you really trust The Beard to step up in a do-or-die Game 6 with all that pressure on his shoulders? I know I don’t.

Same-game parlay (+1000)

Let’s have some fun, shall we?

76ers first quarter ML
James Harden under 20.5 points
Joel Embiid over 11.5 rebounds
Tyler Herro over 1.5 three-pointers
