2022 Pittsburgh Steelers Schedule: Full Dates, Times, and TV Info

The 2022 Pittsburgh Steelers schedule will be the first the team faces without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger since the 2003 NFL season.
Before they even get to the 2022 schedule, though, head coach Mike Tomlin and company will preside over one of the league’s most intriguing training camp position battles. Offseason free-agent signing Mitchell Trubisky and first-round pick Kenny Pickett will battle it out to replace Roethlisberger.
The winner will step into one of the best supporting casts in the league but will also face one of the toughest divisions in the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens are perennial contenders, the Cleveland Browns traded for Deshaun Watson this offseason, and the Cincinnati Bengals represented the AFC in the Super Bowl.
Depending on how QB works out, the Steelers could be right there with their divisional rivals. The defense already boasts reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt, and it added cornerback Levi Wallace and safety Damontae Kazee in free agency and defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal in the draft.
On the offensive side of the ball, the team lost JuJu Smith-Schuster but drafted well, picking up wide receivers George Pickens from Georgia and Calvin Austin III from Memphis. They also took star DL Cameron Heyward’s little brother, Connor Heyward, out of Michigan State to land an interesting fullback/tight end hybrid.
And, best of all for the Steelers, no matter who’s under center, the schedule provides the least amount of travel of any NFL team in 2022.
