The Los Angeles Rams aren’t just going to sit back and rest on their laurels throughout their 2022 NFL schedule. Instead, they’ll do their darnedest to put together a convincing defense of their Super Bowl title, again relying on a Matthew Stafford-led offense and a star-studded defense.

With Aaron Donald, Bobby Wagner, Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Floyd, and more in place on the point-preventing end, it’ll once more be rather difficult to score on this Rams defense. And though Odell Beckham Jr. is no longer featured on the offense, Stafford still gets to throw passes to Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson II, Van Jefferson, and Tyler Higbee when he’s not handing it off to Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson Jr.

The Rams will host the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day as part of a tripleheader, and some slime might come into the picture during the Nickelodeon broadcast of the marquee contest. But the fireworks should come early and often throughout the defending champs’ schedule.

If all goes well, maybe Stafford will earn himself even more ubiquitous commercial opportunities.
