Tre'Davious White Trade: Rams Ship DB To Ravens.

Before the NFL’s trade deadline, the Baltimore Ravens acquired cornerback Tre’Davious White from the Los Angeles Rams. View the trade details below.

Rams Trade Tre’Davious White To Ravens

With a struggling secondary, the Ravens made a late move to bolster their pass defense.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Rams traded White and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Ravens for a 2026 seventh-rounder.

White has been inactive for the Rams since Week 4. White has 12 tackles and passes defended in four games. The return of cornerback Darious Williams bumped White out of the lineup.

Rams head coach Sean McVay gave White and his agent permission to seek a trade last month.

White signed a one-year, $8.5 million deal with a maximum value of $10 million with the Rams.

Ravens Hope To Utilize Former All-Pro DB

White, 29, is best known for his seven seasons with the Buffalo Bills. White made First-team All-Pro in 2019, followed by Second-team All-Pro in 2020. The former first-round pick has previously been named to two Pro Bowls.

Since 2021, White has dealt with several noteworthy injuries. White injured his ACL in November 2021 and tore his Achilles four games into the 2024 season. Both injuries were season-ending.

White will not start right away for the Ravens, who have All-Pro Marlon Humphrey, Brandon Stephens, and Nate Wiggins.

However, Baltimore’s secondary has struggled all season. The Ravens defense allows the most passing yards per game (280.9).

The Ravens (6-3) have a short week as they host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.
