Kicking off the list is Premier League icon Alan Shearer, having directly contributed to 184 goals in 303 matches between the 1996-97 and 2005-06 seasons. The Englishman scored 148 goals and provided 36 assists for the Magpies, winning their Player of the Season award on four occasions. Overall, he scored 206 goals and provided 58 assists in 405 games across competitions.
Shearer, who won the title with Blackburn Rovers in 1994-95, is the leading scorer in the history of the competition. Throughout his illustrious career, he played 441 Premier League matches, smashing 260 goals. He won the Golden Boot three times (1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97).
#9 Son Heung-Min (Tottenham Hotspur): 186 Goal contributions
Arguably the greatest player South Korea has ever produced, Son Heung-min has been a crucial player in Tottenham Hotspur’s modern history. The dynamic forward has been wreaking havoc since joining the club from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2015, playing a part in 186 goals in 309 appearances. The 32-year-old has scored 122 goals and provided 64 assists in the English top flight. The 2021-22 season turned out to be his best in the Premier League, as he won the Golden Boot after scoring 23 goals.
Son, who has emerged as Spurs’ leader following Harry Kane’s departure last summer, has so far played 416 games for the Lilywhites in all competitions. He has chipped in with 165 goals and 86 assists.

Liverpool’s captain extraordinaire, Steven Gerrard, had a knack for popping up with important goals and assists. Over the course of his 17-season-long senior career at Liverpool, Gerrard had a direct hand in 212 goals in the Premier League. The former central midfielder scored 120 goals and provided 92 assists in 504 Premier League matches. Across competitions, Gerrard played 710 matches, scoring 186 goals and providing 155 assists.
Unfortunately, the ex-England international did not get to taste Premier League glory in his career, but he was one of the standout players in the Reds’ 2004-05 UEFA Champions League-winning campaign. He scored twice in eight Champions League games that season, including one in the epic shootout win over AC Milan in the final.

One of the finest goalscorers in Premier League history, Sergio Aguero enjoyed a smashing decade-long run at Manchester City between 2011-12 and 2020-21, scoring 184 goals and providing 47 assists in 275 Premier League matches. No Manchester City player has had more goal contributions than the Argentinian in the English top flight. Overall, Aguero played 390 matches for the Cityzens in all competitions, scoring 260 goals and providing 65 assists.
Aguero, who kicked off Man City’s dominance in the Premier League with his title-winning goal against Queens Park Rangers on the final Matchday of the 2011-12 season, won a total of 15 trophies with Man City, including five English top-flight championships. He also won six League Cups, an FA Cup, and three FA Community Shields.
#6 Mohamed Salah (Liverpool): 232 Goal contributions
Arguably Liverpool’s best player in the Premier League era, Mohamed Salah, has been directly involved in 232 goals in just 258 Premier League matches. The Egypt international has so far scored 160 goals and provided 72 assists for the Merseysiders. In all competitions, Salah has found the back of the net 218 times and claimed 95 assists in 360 matches. Salah, who has scored four goals and provided five assists in eight Premier League games this term, has three Premier League Golden Boots to his name.
Since joining the club in the summer of 2017, Salah has helped the Merseysiders to every trophy in club soccer. In 2018-19, he emerged as one of Liverpool’s best performers as they won the UEFA Champions League. Chelsea icon Frank Lampard is the fifth name on the list, with ‘Super Frank’ playing a direct part in 237 Premier League goals during his illustrious Stamford Bridge run. The former England midfielder scored 147 goals and provided 90 assists in 429 Premier League matches. In 648 games across all tournaments, Lampard found the back of the net 211 times and provided 148 assists.
Lampard bagged an impressive 11 trophies with Chelsea. He won the Premier League title thrice (2004-05, 2005-06, 2009-10), the UEFA Champions League in 2011-12, four FA Cups (2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2011-12), the UEFA Europa League in 2012-13, and two League Cups (2004-05, 2006-07). He has also had a couple of stints as manager of the West London club but, unfortunately, could not live up to expectations.

Arguably the finest non-English player in Premier League history, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry had a direct hand in 259 goals in the Premier League. The 1998 FIFA World Cup winner scored 175 times and claimed 74 assists in 258 matches in the English top flight. Henry spent eight seasons at Arsenal between 1999-00 and 2006-07 before returning for a brief spell during the MLS break in 2011-12.
Henry won a record four Premier League Golden Boots (2001-02, 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06) during his stay, helping the Gunners to two titles (2001-02, 2003-04). Arsenal’s win in the 2003-04 season remains the most iconic Premier League history, as they claimed the title without losing a single match.
Henry, who scored 228 goals and 98 assists in 377 games for the North London outfit, also won three FA Cups (2001-02, 2002-03, 2004-05) and two FA Community Shields (2002-03, 2004-05) with the Gunners.

England’s all-time leading scorer (68 goals) Harry Kane enjoyed a smashing run in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur between 2012-13 and 2022-23 seasons. Kane was directly involved in 259 goals in the Premier League across 317 matches. The Bayern Munich star scored 213 goals and provided 46 assists for the Lilywhites. He won three Premier League Golden Boots (2015-16, 2016-17, 2020-21) but did not have the good fortune of laying his hands on the coveted English top-flight title.
Over the course of his stay at Tottenham Hotspur, Kane played 435 games in all competitions, scoring 280 times and providing 61 assists. Unsurprisingly, the 31-year-old is the Londoners’ all-time leading scorer.

The former right-midfielder scored 109 goals and claimed 162 assists for the Red Devils. Giggs is the most decorated player in the history of the Premier League. He featured in 22 seasons in the first division of English soccer, winning the title a staggering 13 times.
Overall, Giggs played a record 963 matches for Manchester United in all competitions, scoring 168 times and providing 254 assists. He helped the club to a total of 35 trophies. In addition to the 13 Premier League titles, Giggs helped Man Utd to two UEFA Champions League trophies (Treble in 1998-99, 2007-08) and four FA Cups (1993-94, 1995-96, 1998-99, 2003-04), among other honors.
