Sportsbook Tabs Corey Heim With Top NASCAR Truck Series Championship Odds; Ryan Reed Gets Off ‘Couch,’ Earns P7
With the NASCAR Truck Series remaining idle until Oct. 26, driver Corey Heim (+175) maintained the top sports betting odds to claim the circuit championship, according to BetOnline Sportsbook.
Breaking out with a career-best six checkered flags and nine stage wins, Heim ranks second among postseason pilots, 30 points above the Round of 8 elimination line.
Grant Enfinger, who claimed last Saturday’s Love’s RV Stop 225 at Talladega Superspeedway, earned the first spot in next month’s Championship 4 race at Phoenix Raceway. Enfinger’s title odds were listed at +500.
Competing at his home-state track, Enfinger, who led a race-high 34 laps and captured Stage 2 points, avoided the last-lap crash to earn his first win this season and first for the CR7 Motorsports’ No. 9 Chevrolet team.
“We knew it was going to get dicey,” Enfigner said, via NASCAR Wire Service.

Ryan Reed Makes Long-Awaited NASCAR National Series Return
Ryan Reed didn’t have anything better to do last weekend.
“It’s fun to come off the couch and be a race car driver,” Reed joked, via MHR PR, following his first NASCAR event in over a year.
An Xfinity Series regular for five seasons (2014-18) and two-time event winner, Reed returned to the Truck Series last Saturday at Talladega and rallied throughout the third stage. The 31-year-old pilot crashed at the end, but skidded to a P7 finish.
Driving the No. 91 Chevrolet, Reed endured two speeding penalties, but cruised through the field late to join the lead pack by Lap 70. Intending to help draft with teammate Christian Eckes, the No. 2-ranked playoff pilot, Reed positioned himself for a career-best finish, despite the late accident.
“I wanted to push the No. 19 (Eckes) to the win,” Reed said.
