Davante Adams is one of the top wideouts in the NFL.

He is an elite route runner and still among the best WRs in the NFL.

News broke out that Davante Adams wants out of Las Vegas and has requested a trade.

Many teams need a top wideout like Adams.

We look at five teams that are linked to Davante Adams or should try to trade for the star wideout.

Five Potential Landing Spots For Davante Adams

Davante Adams remains one of the elite wideouts in the NFL. He has requested a trade and could be on the move soon.

Below are five teams that should pursue Adams.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are 3-1 and sit atop the AFC East.

Buffalo has been playing well on offense but they have no number one WR.

Davante Adams would immediately be their top receiving option and would make this offense even better.

The Bills are pursuing a Super Bowl and adding a weapon like Adams would only boost their chances.

It may take a week or two for Allen to click with Adams but this would be a dangerous combination.

Buffalo traded away Stefon Diggs, who was the team’s top wideout for a few years.

Adding Adams would make Buffalo’s offense one of the toughest to face each week.

Buffalo wants to win the Super Bowl and defeat the Chiefs in the playoffs and adding a WR like Davante Adams would boost their chances.

New York Jets

This choice is fairly obvious.

The connection between Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams is strong.

They have tremendous chemistry from their time with the Green Bay Packers.

Adams has expressed he’d like to join the Jets.

New York needs an offensive playmaker as they have been somewhat lacking offensively.

Adams, paired with Garrett Wilson would form one of the best receiving duos in the league.

The Jets are 2-2 and will be fighting to make the playoffs and win the division.

Adding Davante Adams would help their offense tremendously.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers were linked to WR Brandon Aiyuk all offseason and were close to acquiring the star WR.

Aiyuk got a contract extension from the 49ers and signed the deal.

The Steelers need a WR, as George Pickens is their only receiving threat.

Pittsburgh has been better on offense this season with Justin Fields under center and Arthur Smith calling the plays.

Adding Adams would make this offense significantly better.

Teams would no longer be able to double-cover Pickens and he would have more room to make big plays.

The Steelers are in first in the AFC North with a 3-1 record but the Ravens are 2-2 and the Bengals are clicking on offense. This is a tough division and the Steelers need another playmaker on offense.

Adding Davante Adams to this team would be a huge boost.

Paired with a strong defense, if the Steelers can acquire Davante Adams, they would be a dangerous threat in the AFC as long as Fields continues to play well.

New Orleans Saints

Another QB Davante Adams is linked to is Derek Carr.

Adams and Carr have a close friendship and played together on the Raiders.

Along with the Jets, the Saints are one of Adams’ preferred destinations.

New Orleans is 2-2 and could use a WR like Adams.

They have Chris Olave but no other receiving threat.

An offense consisting of Olave, Alvin Kamara, and Adams would be a dangerous trio.

This would make Carr’s job much easier and give him a trusted weapon he already has chemistry with.

New Orleans should try and acquire Davante Adams if they hope to win the NFC South and be a threat in the conference.

Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders are first in the NFC East with a 3-1 record.

Rookie QB Jayden Daniels has looked very good after four games.

He is comfortable running the offense and has looked very good.

Daniels is on a rookie deal, which gives Washington the flexibility to spend money on other positions.

They are lacking a WR threat outside of Terry McLaurin.

Adams already called Daniels a special player and said the Raiders hoped they could get Daniels in the NFL Draft.

Daniels would enjoy having a veteran star WR like Adams on the team.

Adding Davante Adams would give the Commanders a good chance of remaining first in the NFC East and making the playoffs.
