It’s always a spectacle whenever the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys get together, but maybe not so much this year. The Cowboys are pulling their weight with their 6-2 record, but the Packers have lost five straight to fall to a puzzling 3-6.

That has created a betting market in which Aaron Rodgers finds himself as the largest home underdog of his career (+4). We’re not worried about the spread here, though. Let’s aim for a juicier payout and try to nail the first touchdown scorer for America’s Game of the Week on Sunday.

AJ Dillon +1000

AJ Dillon recorded more carries than Aaron Jones last week for the fifth time in nine games this season. I expect him to do the same against the Cowboys with Jones banged up due to an ankle injury.

If Green Bay is going to win this game, it needs to ride the run game and limit Dallas’ possessions. That should mean plenty of touches for Dillon, especially in the red zone. The second-year running back is most likely going to play the most snaps of all Packers running backs on Sunday, yet he’s priced higher than Jones at +1000 (FanDuel) to score the first touchdown. I’ll take a shot on Dillon here.

Dalton Schultz +1400

Dalton Schultz wasn’t a factor in the Cowboys offense with Cooper Rush under center, but now that Dak Prescott is healthy and back in the lineup, the tight end is back to producing at a high level. Over the last two games, Schultz has caught 11 of his 12 targets for 123 yards.

I expect that volume to continue against the Packers. Schultz hasn’t found the end zone in six games played this year, but that should change soon considering he scored eight touchdowns in 17 games last season. Let’s hope it starts on Sunday.

Christian Watson +2100

It’s been a frustrating rookie season for Christian Watson, to say the least. It all started with his brutal drop against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 that would’ve been a touchdown, and he’s only caught eight passes since then.

Watson hasn’t scored a receiving touchdown all year, but I think the Packers need to get him more involved this week with the injuries they’re dealing with on the offensive side of the ball. I could see the rookie breaking off a big play early, so I think his 21/1 is worth a gamble.
