We’ve made it to the most stressful event of the PGA Tour season for many players — the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club. Because the tournament marks the end of the PGA Tour regular season, it’s the last chance for players on the bubble to accumulate enough points to crack the top 125 and punch their tickets to the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Many of these golfers must at least make the cut to have a chance at qualifying for the playoffs, so what is the cut line for the 2022 Wyndham Championship, and how many players get to play the weekend?

*Cut line details will be updated throughout the tournament*

Historical cut line at the Wyndham Championship

The Wyndham Championship has been a birdie fest over the last few years. Of the last six champions at Sedgefield Country Club, five of them reached at least 20 under par. Only Kevin Kisner (2021) didn’t reach the 20 under mark.

Because the course plays as one of the easiest on Tour, you need to be a few strokes under par through two rounds just to make the cut. The cut line has been consistent of late, as five of the last six runnings of the Wyndham Championship have featured a line of 3 under.

Expect the cut line at the 2022 Wyndham Championship to land in the 3 under zone again.

As is the case for most PGA Tour events, the top 65 players (plus ties) after 36 holes will survive the cut and be able to play the weekend.

After the first round of the Wyndham Championship, the cut line currently sits at 1 under par. With 78 players at 1 under or better, the cut line is expected to rise to 2 or 3 under par by Friday afternoon.

As of right now, Corey Conners (E), Webb Simpson (+1), Will Zalatoris (+1), Rickie Fowler (+1), and reigning champion Kevin Kisner (+3) are all outside the cut line.

UPDATE: The second round of the Wyndham Championship has concluded after a lengthy weather delay, and the cut line finished at 1 under par. Incredibly, 86 players will be moving on to play the weekend. Brandon Wu, Joohyung Kim, and Ryan Moore are tied for the lead at 9 under par.

Notable players to miss the cut:

  • Rickie Fowler
  • Cameron Champ
  • Harris English
  • Jason Day (WD)
  • Webb Simpson (WD)
  • Kevin Kisner (WD)
