2022 Chicago Bears Schedule: Full Dates, Times, and TV Info

It almost doesn’t matter what the 2022 Chicago Bears schedule is because — let’s be honest — this season isn’t about winning a Super Bowl in the Windy City. This season is about developing the foundation for an eventual winner. If the 2022 Bears can accomplish that, then the season will be a resounding success.
A year ago, the Bears came into NFL schedule release day with a new rookie quarterback the team traded up (again) to get. Drafting Justin Fields was a Hail Mary from former general manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy.
To continue the analogy, that Hail Mary fell incomplete on the 5-yard line, and Pace and Nagy lost their jobs.
Now GM Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus are tasked with turning around a Bears franchise that finished 6-11 and 27th in the league in scoring offense. Additionally, that offense lost two valuable weapons this offseason in wide receivers Allen Robison II and Jakeem Grant.
You’d think that the Bears would go heavy on offense during the 2022 NFL Draft to support the franchise’s young QB. However, Poles and former defensive coordinator Eberflus went defense-heavy in the early rounds.
The Bears could once again have an elite defense in 2022 (as they historically do) even with the Khalil Mack trade this offseason. However, the organization did little to help Fields, which could mean it is on the verge of ruining another young QB (as it historically does).
Can the Bears win with defense alone? Can Fields develop without blue-chip players around him?
